Heritage and Tourist Information 

- Information about Rye from www.ryeheritage.co.uk where they have a splendid collection of end of the pier slot machines as well as their very own Rye Sound & Light  show. They are also home to the town’s official Tourist Information Office.

Have fish and chips on the front at Hastings and visit their recently re-furbished Museum www.hmag.org.uk with a very good collection of Rye and Sussex Pottery

- Castles –
If Castles are your thing try either the ruined but picture-book Bodiam Castle www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bodiam-castle/ or visit Leeds Castle with its endless entertainment possibilities from the aviary to the golf course www.leeds-castle.com. Both are wonderful places to take the children and/or a picnic.
