RURAL RYE POTTERY ANIMALS

The Sussex Pig has been made here at Rye for over 200 years but in the past 60 years we have added not only a herd of assorted Pigs, but also a series of Farm Animals, Wild UK Animals and even one or two rather charming Exotic Creatures as well. Wally Cole designed our Ducks, Owls  and Robins while in 1983 we put his first student moulded bird The Penguin into our Rye Collection to mark his 80th birthday. We even make a set of Flying Ducks for anyone really into their retro interiors. Where the animals are produced as a pair they are painted together so although we can sell them seperately they do not neccessarily match up from one pair to the next.
