The Ram & Ewe

A classic pair for us now with a new textured white coat as part of our All White collection.

The All White pair uses a technique called “Sgrafitto” creating a pattern called Tracery that we’ve traditionally used on homewares. The glaze is delicately scratched through giving the sheep a textured coat that makes you want to stroke it. The Ram and Ewe are finished off with a soft brown sponged face with black detailing and hooves.

The figures were originally modelled for Rye Pottery by our long-term collaborator and renowned sculptor and ceramicist, Tony Bennett.
