RIP Biddy ~ 1937 – 2020

Yet another apology for our radio silence. We hope you are all safe and well.
During these unpleasant & insane times we’ve had our own little micro crisis to deal with and are very sad to announce the death of Biddy. The face of Rye Pottery for many, many years and the epitomy of a colourful character. But also a devoted, skilled & much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Sudden illness (non Covid) and then grief have spanned the last two months, so we haven’t felt very social. Even virtually. Sorry. But Rye Pottery is still open online, our team are safe and we’ll be back in full force soon.
We are holding a necessarily tiny family cremation this Friday lunchtime and hope that those that wish can raise a glass at some point in the day, wherever you are in the world.
To a truly inspirational woman.
