The Rye Rabbit in Black & White Spot

This Black & White Spotted Bunny is a newer addition the Rye Pottery English Animals & Birds Collection.

The crisp contrast of black and white gives this piece a smart contemporary vibe, less Country Rabbit, more of a Georgian Townhouse kind of Bunny. He/she also works really well within a darker home decor or interiors scheme and looks very dramatic as one of a pair on a large mantlepiece with the fire raging. There is a somewhat cheeky smile, or perhaps he’s plotting, so maybe he’d make a good addition to your Halloween decorations.

The flowers on the base of this figure are applied using freehand brushwork and feature a warm Coral and Leaf Green, with a gentle pop of contrasting Blue. This figure is also available in a neutral, more naturalistic London Stone Sponge, an Easter perfect Indigo Blue Sponge as well as Ginger Sponge.
