These characterful group figures have a strong feel of some of the early 18th century Bow or Staffordshire figures. Often dreamt up by Tarquin Cole on the back of an envelope and modelled by Chris O’Donoghue, the groups convey both charm and a certain down-to-earth rustic humour seldom found in modern day ceramics.
