Rye Pottery

These poopular little vases are hand-thrown on a wheel using red clay and then glazed and hand-decorated. The vases currently comes in two decorative styles, one features simple bands (refined black circles hand-painted at the base) while the other is a “Sgraffito” design, a scratch through technique that we call Tracery.

We produce them in three different shapes – Flask and Cone shown here, but also Round – either with or without the little RYE stamp on the front.
