As he proudly displays his talents for all to see, do look at the back where you’ll discover an intricately painted dish stacked with jam tarts that are almost good enough to eat.

We make no comment about the battle of the sexes in the kitchen but…he does make a rather splendid partner for our lovely female Mrs Beeton figure, who we call the Pastry Cook.
