This Ram is part of a series of three of our English Animal figures as you’ve never seen them.

Half of each figure depicts a “normal” Ram, Boar & Bull, while the other half is painstakingly hand-painted to reveal classic English Butcher’s cuts.

The hand-painted lettering on these takes ages to do and is made even harder because you can’t move the figure you’re working on, so you have to twist and turn yourself and your hands to be in a position to be able to paint the letters.

These three figures were born out of a Halloween window display a couple of years ago. We loved the idea so much we didn’t put any on show that year and instead decided to develop and refine the concept.

These may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we think they’re a clever gift idea for the devoted Foodie, Farmer or Cook in your life and what better present to take to a BBQ!
