Well, who wouldn’t like to float about their topiary and flower beds with a straw hat, plucking blooms from their bountiful display on a lovely summer’s evening? Well we might not all be able to manage that, but you can live the life through our charming female gardening figure.

The gentle flop in her hat and the sway in her skirt are hallmarks of the celebrated Neal French who modeled her for us. With just the right amount of movement, the hand-painted decoration of skirt as ever poses a challenge to our talented decorating team who painstakingly ensure that the check pattern follows the movement of the fabric.

The flowers too are deceptively simple but through careful brushwork in soft Flamingo pink, the sense of abundant English blooms shines through.
